Born about 180-1811 in Horry County, South Carolina

James Harralson Graham was born around 180-1811 in Horry County, South Carolina.  He married Elizabeth Ann Floyd in 1828 in Alabama.  She was born in 1806 in Jeff Davis County, Georgia.  In 1842, James sold his property in Barbour County, Alabama.  He, with his wife, children and mother and father, James and Mary Graham, moved to Texas.  They settled in Rusk County.  He did not arrive in time to help Texas win her independence, but I am very proud that he was a citizen of the Republic of Texas.
