Charles Mote Walters was born about 1807 in Tennessee.  He married Mary Medfore (born December 19, 1813) about 1828.  Charles was a Cpatain in the Second Regiment, Third Brigade, and a soldier at San Jacinto.

Mary died on April 30, 1873 at Walters’ Bluff, Smith County, Texas.  Charles died abut 1846 also at Walters’ Bluff in Smith County.
